About Us
Our Story
The Red Cross Club was founded in an effort to allow students to give back to their own community. The Red Cross Club promotes student leadership through committee leadership. The club's mission is very similar to other Red Cross affiliated clubs throughout the country. The club focuses on immediate relief and community service. Activities, such as fund-raising for disaster relief and donations to the Red Cross will develop bonds within the club and community. The club meets on Thursdays after-school in room E-2316.
The Purpose
The Montgomery High School Red Cross Club is one of several hundred chartered Red Cross Clubs around the nation. It is affiliated with the American Red Cross and assists the public by means of projects and education. Club members play a large part in this commitment and they will gain experience by dealing with disaster-related emergencies or community service. Open to all students currently enrolled in Montgomery High School, the MHS Red Cross Club holds meetings on a regular basis throughout the school year.
